Dec. SOs. 181T ed for the faithful performance of the trusts and duties required
v        and imposed on him by this act, and any order or decree of the
chancellor, which bond shall be recorded in the said court, and on
an attested copy thereof, suit may be maintained by any person in-
terested, and such trustee, so to be appointed, shall have all the
powers, and be subject to the orders and controul of the chancel-
lor, in the same manner as the trustee named in this act.

Tay bring  Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the General .issembiv q/ .larytland That
slaves into the John Hoye, and Mary his wife, be and they are hereby authorised
. t~te.    and empowered to remove and bring into this state a mulatto wo-
man, a slave, named Matilda, and her two children, at any time
within one year Irom the passage of this act, on their having the
said slaves duly recorded in the count)' court of Allegany within
six months after the said removal, any law to the contrary notwith-
standing.
Not to sell for  2. ,riad be it enacted, That nothing herein contained shall be
three years.  construed to enable the said Hoye and wife to sell or dispose of the
said slaves, imported by virtue of this act, until the slaves shall
have resided within this state three whole years next preceding
such sale.

Passed Jan 20 An act for the relief of Richard Walkcr's three children,
Peggy Walker, Nancy Walker, and Richard 11 alker, or
Saint-Mary's Uounty.
Levy to be  Sec. 1. Be it ciacled by the General .Issembly of .1taryland, That
made.      the justices of the levy court of S;int.Mary's county, be and they
are hereby directed, at their annual meeting, to assess and levy on
the assessable property oF said county, for the use of Pcggy Wal-
ker, Nancy Walker and IRichard Walker, the sum of thirty dollars
to each of them, which said sums of money, when collected, shall
be paid over annually by the collector of said county to such per.
son as the judges of the orphans court of said county shall direct.
