things relating thereto, as hereby incorpurated ,hall be the
same as laid lown on the plat made out by the commissi;ners
'heretofore appointed by fhe legislature of this state, to lay out
and fix the boundaries of said town atnd the sever, I additions
thereto, and iecouded amongst the land records ot Alleghavy
county.

Maryland, 'That it shall be lawful for Hetry S. Yatcs of neg, es.
Charles cout'ty, to bring into this state sundry negroes and
the issue of the smc, which in the year eighteen lunt'drcd and
fourteen he removed to the State of' Kentn(.ky, and sFtcl ne-
groes when ,.o hrought into this state, to hold as slares in the
same nialin'r:. as he ouidhl hase done if they had not been re-
moved ; Provided, that the said negroes when renoed agreea-  Proviso;
bly to the provisiors of this act shall be recorded in the rtcords
of the county court, with an affidavit that they are the same
negroes which were removed by the said Yates to Kentucky,
in the year eighteen hundred and fourteen, and the issue of the
same, which aflidavit so recorded shall be legal evidence of
this fact for all purposes whatsoever.
CHAPTER 138.
Aln act to authorise Nathaniel Cacy of Queen Ann's Coun y to  Passea Ja .
sell the lands therein 7ncntioned.         2 , 1816.
See. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General .assenbly of      May sell.
Maryland, That Nathaniel Cacy be, and he is hereby autho-
rised to sell arfd dispose of all such tracts or pareels of land
lying and being in Queen Ann's county, called Low's Arcadia
and White Marsh, as would at his death fall to his daughters
Sarah Ann Cacy and Catharine Matilda Cacy, in the right of
their mother, and to apply the proceeds thereof in such man.
ner for the benefit of said Sarah Ann Cacy and Catharine Ma-
tilda Cacy, as the orphan's court of Queen Ann's county may
direct.
Q. AND BE IT ENACTED, That any conveyance or
deed made by Nathaniel Cacy pursuant to the directions of the
orphan's court of Queen Anti's county, shall he and is hereby
declared to be valid and effectual, to pas, and convey all the
right title and interest of the said Sarah Ann Cacy and Catha-
rine Matilda Cacy, in and to all thelands afoeiid to. the pur-
chaser or-purchasers of th e  ,:
