by indictment;, for. the. same, in any court of law in this
state ;and upon.conviction thereof, shall, becsides the re-
medy that may. be had by action in the name of the pre.
sident and directors of the Farmers' bank of Somerset and
Worcester,.for the fraud aforesaid, forfeit all his share or
stock in the said bank.tpthe company.

county,
May import a  SEc. 1. BE IT ENACTED bythegeneral assembly of
fyiave.    Maryland; That Willy Janes, be and l. is hereby au,
thorised and empowered. tp remove, import, and bring
into this state, at any time within one year after the pas-
sage of this act, the slave he ma , be entitled . to, under
t e grant or bonafide gift of his father Henry Janes,, of
the commonwealth of Virginia, and which slave shall have
been a resident of the commonwealth of. Virginia three.

Provisos  and the same-to retain as a slave; Provided,.That no sale
or disposition of any such- slave, shal, be iade until
the said slave shall have resided within. this state three
whole years next preceding such sale,.exce pt in cases of
disposition by last will and testament, andedisposition by
law , for bonafide debts, or consequent upon intestacy
Provided also, That lie cause the'said slave'to be recor.-
ed in the clerk's office of Montgomeiy county, withii,
twenty days after such removal.
