Sac, 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General As-       Ile may re.
'sembly of Mari/land, That the said Charles L. Sny- move them
der be, and he'is hereby authorised aid eipowered within 1z
at any time or times within twelve months after the months.
,passage of this act, to remove and bring into this
staelhis four'negrocs, Ned, Anna, Charlotte and Sa.
rah, that he now has. a bona fide absolute right unto,
in the same manner that lie might or could have done
at the time of his own removal into this state, any
law to the contrary notwithstanding.
2. AND   BE IT    ENACTED, That the said Negroes to be

from Virginia as aforesaid.
3. AND   BE   IT  ENACTED, That nothing        Heshallnot

three years
or slaves as aforesaid, until they shall have resided residence un-
within this state three whole years after the passage less in certain
of this act, except in cases of disposition by last will cases.
