the seVeral persons, -their executors, administrators,  1812.
assigns or orders, or to such of them as shall offer to
receive the same, the several sums of current money
allowed to them respectively as they appear to be set-
tied and ascertained by the said journafof accounts,
out of any money nowv in the treasury, or that shall
come into the treasury, subject to the appropriation
of the General Assembly.

An act for the benefit of William Davis and Eli- Passed Ja. 7.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly Of Levy courtshall
.Marjland, That the levy court of Anne-Arundel ascs' a sum of

county shall, and they are hereby empowered at their mainten ace
levy court annually, so long as they shall see cause,
to assess and levy on the assessable property of said
county, a sum of money not exceeding sixty dollars,
for. the support and maintenance of the said William
Davis and Elizabeth Davis his sister, who is an ideot;
and that the same be collected annually by the collec-
tor of Anne-Arundel county, and by him paid to the
said William Davis or his order.
CHAPTER 219.
An act for the benefit of James Bruft, nOW Of Passed Jan. 7,
Queen-Anne's county.               1812.
WHEREAS it is represented to this General As- Preamble.
sembly by James Bruff, that lie has been residing in
the Western country for several years past, daring
the greater part of which time he was in the military
service of the United States ; but that lately he has
been farming in the state of Tennessee, from whence
he wishes to remove his family into this state to reside,
and prays that an act may pass to enable him to bring
with him one of the negroes that he now holds in that
state; and the same appearing reasonable ;-Thcre.
fore,
BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of A certain slave
Maryland, That James    rua be, and he is hereby maybe remov.
