rO~mble,   WHEREAS, Elizabeth Luckett of Frederick
county, hath, by her petition to this General Assem-
bly set forth, that she is the owner of several slaves
living in the state of Virginia, and that she has long'
been a resident of this state, but prior to her residence
here, had lived in Virginia; and at the time of her re-
inoval, had found it most to her advantage to let said
slaves remain in Virginia ; that the, necessity for their
stay there no longer exists, and there is now no
longer any possibility of their being of any benefit to
her, unless she can be permitted to remove them to
Frederick county in this state, her place of residence;
and the prayer of said petitioner appearing reasona-
ble :-Thereore,
