For the relief of LastIe Nezat, of the parish of St. Landry.
SECTION 1. Be ist eacted by the Senate and Bouse  Represenio-
asonanw e ' s of the Stateof, Loisiana ins General Assemby 'convedTa
Lii wsate for the Treasurer of the State be and he is hereby authdrized to pay to
sentenced  to Lastie Nezat, on his own warrant, the sum of five hundred dollars,
if aor or as a full and complete remuneration for his slave Albert, convicted
to hard labor for life, on the twenty-second day of November,
Proviso.  eighteen hundred and fifty-six.: provided, that in caise said slave
shall be pardoned, the money is to be refunded to the State.
