Instructing the State Engineer to remove obstructions to the navigation of BrofrRive.
Be it enacted by the Anate and House of Representatives of the State
obtrations of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That the State Engineer
iomuroffiliver. be and he is hereby instructed, as soon as practicable, to remove
obstructions to the navigation of Broff River, in the 1arishes of
Provso.   Caldwell, Franklin, Ouachita, Morehouse and Carroll; provided, that
this Act shall not be so construed so as to interfere with other in-
ternal improvements already begun.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

fusion of blood, superintend said slaves, so as to cause a contusion or shedding of
unihable b blood, shall be punished with death or imprisonment at hard labor
