No. 129.]                   AN ACT
To provide for the payment of the salary of the Reporter of the Decisions of the
Supreme Court, for a part of the year 1852.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly con-
$1,979 appropriated vened, That the sum of one thousand nine hundred and seventy-nine
tophthe saRp r  of dollars, be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any moneys in
Supreme Court.  the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the payment of the salary
of the present Reporter of the Decisions of the Supreme Court,
for nine and a half months of the year 1852; said sum to be paid to
the said present Reporter, on the warrant of the Auditor of Public
Accounts.

Be it enacted by the Senate and louse of Representatives of
Judith Toutant au- the State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That
thorized to sell cer-
ta slaves,    from the passing of this Act, Judith Toutant, of New Orleans, wife
of Alexander Legendre, be and she is hereby authorized, with the
consent and assistance of her husband, to sell the negress slave named
S6raphine, with her children named Aspasie, Auguste, Louis, Victor
and Sanom, being dotal property of said Mrs. Legendre.
