To authorize the Common Council of the City of New Orleans, and the Police Jury
of the Parish of Orleans on the Right Bank of the Mississippi River, to establish
Ferries across the said River, and to regulate the same.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly con-

Repealing clause.  SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, 4-c., That all Acts or parts of
Proviso.      Acts contrary to the provisions of this, be and the same are hereby
repealed; provided that the provisions of this Act shall not interfere
with existing rights.
