SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-

lot sa.        ized to pay to the order of Mrs. Joseph Debuclet, on the warrant of
the Auditor of Public Accounts, the sum of three hundred dollars,
being in compensation of the slave Philip, convicted and sentenced to
imprisonment at hard labor for life.
$800 appropriatedc SEC. 2. Be it further enacted, 4-c., That the sum of three hun-
dred dollars be and is hereby appropriated for the purposes of this Act
out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
