the town of   Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa
tives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That
the tract of land lying in a square and extending one mile on each
side in the center of which is the north-west corner of the public
square of the town of Homer, in the parish of Claiborne, be and the

voters.       Sec. 2. Be it fuher enacted, &c., That all citizens residing
within the limits of said corporation, who are entitled to vote for
members of the General Assembly shall hold an election on the first
