AN ACT
To exempt certain property from taxation.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State
of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That so much property as
ias been acquired, or may be acquired by the government of the United
'    -IS'q States, within the State of Louisiana, to establish a naval depot below the
ta~ io 1w e- city of New Orleans, he and the same is hereby exempted from the assess-
(%        1 ment or payment of any tax to this State, or to any body corporate within
the same, so long as said property shall be used for the purposes of a naval
depot.
