For the relief of Julien Berzat.
Be it enacted, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State
of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened: That the State Treasurer
be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to Julien Berzat, a free man of
reasion. color, veteran of eighteen hundred and fourteen and fifleen, on the warrant
.88 per month, of the auditor of public accounts, from any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, the sum of eight dollars per month as a pension,
during two years.

Be it enacted, by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State
of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened: That the sum of two thou-

therelief of the Firemens' Charitable Association, for the use thereof, the same to be paid
New Oleans by the Treasurer of the State, out of any monies in the treasury not other.
