                  To establish the jail of the parish of St. Tanunany a depot fr runaway slaves.
            Be  it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of
cpol of runa- Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the parish jail in the parish
*ay slaves. of St. Tammany, town of Covington, shall hereafter be the depot for runa-
          way  slaves arrested in the parish of Washington, St. Tammany and Liv-
          ingston; and the slaves at said depot shall be kept and treated by the
          keeper thereof, in all respects according to the laws of the State, now
          i  force at other public depots.

                          1?or the relief of A. Contiroy, Wa. Greig, and J. Hardy.
             SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
          the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That the State
          treasurer be, and he is hereby authorized to pay out of any money in the
 Appropriation treasury not otherwise appropriated, unto A. Coudroy, William Greig and
of twenty-two J. Hardy, on their own warrants, to be drawn on the auditor of public
h    ents n accounts respectively, being the amount due them for having taken a cen.

          and  after its passage.
