SEc. 2. Be it further enacted, 4-c.; That any Custom House or other
public buildings erected upon any lot of ground ceded by the said Munici-
pality to the Unite i States, shall remain forqver free from any State, parish,
br municipal tax.

To confirm thec location of the Seat of Justice in the parish of Franklin.
Be it enacted by tle Senate and House of Representatives of the State of
Louisiana in Genera! Assembly convened, That the location of the seat of
Justice -in the parish of Franklin, at Winsborough, on the south-west
quarter of section number twenty-five, township nv'm ber fourteen of range
number seven cast, on which a court house ind jtX are now situated, be,
and the same is hereby confirmed, and the said location shall be at Wins-
borough, on said quarter section, whcro it is now, until removed by law.

AN ACT
For the relief of G. Erbert and Damis, two free men of color.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
State of Louisiana in General Assembly convened, That Guillaume
Erbert and Damis, two free nien of color who served in the war of
eighteen hundred and fourteen and fifteen, he entitled to receive the sum
of eighty-four dollars per annum each, to be payable in monthly instal-
ments of seven dollars, and that the State Treasurer be, and he is hereby
authorised to pay to the said G. Erbert and Damis, each upon their sepa-
rated warrants, the afore mentioned amounts out of any monies in the
treasury not otherwise appropriated.
