To grant an appropriation to the Artillery Company of Buton fiouge.
SECTION 1. Bec it enacted bi the Senate and House oj
Representatires qf /e State of Louisiana in General Assembly
Annual ap- convened, That the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars be
,W to     annually given for and during the space of five years, by the

printed in the State treasury, to the volunteer Company of
Artillery of 13aton Rouge, andby them to be applied to the
purchase of powder and halls to be used to perfect them in
the art of gunnery; and the State Treasurer is hereby au-
thorised to pay the said sum on the warant of the captain
of said Company, countersigned by lie Inspector General of
the State of Louisiana.
SEC. 2. Be itf/ri7er enacted, Sv. That this act sha lie in
force from and after its passage.
