SEcTIoN 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House
of Representatives of the State of Louisiana, in gen-
eral assembly convened, That it shall be the duty of all
persons who shall hereafter carry on the business of
shipping of seamen pursuant to the provisions of the
Bond given present act, previously to their engaging in the same, to
by shipping give bond with two good securities, freeholders of said
