SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House

No. 43.-AN ACT for the relief of H. T. Williams.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of      Repre-
sentatives of the State of Louisiana, in general as-
sembly convened, That the treasurer of the State be
and he is hereby authorized to pay to H. T. Williams,
on his own receipt, out of any moneys in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated, the sum of two thousand dollars,
as a full compensation for his services in locating certain
lands for the use of the State under the direction of the
governor, in conformity with the provisions of a joint re-
solution of the legislature, approved March 27th, 1835.
