AN ACT
To authoriso Fielding Davis, of tho State of Mississippi, to remove cor.
tain Slaves from the State of Louisiana, into the State of M1Iississippi.
Be it enacted bY the Senate and House of Representatives of
the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly Convened, That
Fielding Davis, ofilississippi, be, and ie is hereby aulthorisod to
remove the followingslaves belonging to the Minor Wiley S.Davis,
from the State of Louisiana to the State of Mississippi, to wit:
Jarvis, Harry, Ethenbort, Charles, Lydia and Jane; upon the
said Fiolding Davis exhibiting to the court oflProbates of the
Parish in which the property is situated, satisfactory cvidence
that hc has been legally and properly constituted guardian to the
Minor Wiley S. Davis, according to the laws of the State of
Mississippi, and that the said Fielding Davis enter into bond and
security, to the satisfaction of a fanily meting composed of the
relations, or in default of relations friends of said Minor, to be
approved by the Judge of Probates of said Parish; said bond to
be subject to all the laws now in force concerning bonds of tutoru
or curators to minors in this State.

AN ACT
To amend an Act, entitled  An Act to revive an Act to incorporate a
Congregation of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Franeis,im Nat-
chitoches.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of
the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convcned, That the
act entitled  Act to revive the Act entitled an Act to incor-
porate a Congregation of the Roman Catholic Church, in the
parish of St. Francis in Natchitoches, approved, March 17th
1823 be and the same is hereby revived for and during the
term offifteen  nsecutive years, from and after the passage of
this act.
