AN ACT
To grant a pension to J. E. Lefebvre and J. B. Hardy.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep-
recntatives of the State of Louisiana in General Assembly
Twenty dollars convened, Thata sum of twenty dollars be and the same is here-
granted monthly by granted monthly, and during his life, to J. E. Lefebvre, as a
and during his
lifedto I.E.gLfe- reward for the services rendered by him to the State of Louisiana
bvro.         during the invasion of the British, in eighteen hundred and four-
teen and eighteen hundred fiftoen.
Annual pen.   Snc. 2. And be it further enacted, etc., That an annual pen-
sion of $ls or sion of fifteen dollars per month, be and the same is hereby allow-
mnt aioweto cd to Joan Baptiste Hardy, freeman of color, ex-captain of the
battalion of militia, composed of men of color, which pension shall
be paid to him on his warrant, by the State treasurer.
