AN ACT
To repeal the several acts relative to the introluction of Slaves into th a
State, and for other purposes.
SacT. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re-
presentatives of the State of Louisiana, in General Assem-
Ny convened, That the act entitled  An act, relative to the
introduction of slaves, approved the nineteenth November,
eighteen hundred and thirty-one, the act approved April
second, eighteen hundred and thirty-two, entitled,  An act
to amend the act entitled An act, relative to the introduc-
tion of slaves, approved November nineteenth, eighteen
hundred and thirty-one, the act approved April second,
eighteen hundred and thirty-two, entitled - An act to amend
the act entitled An act relative to the introduction of
Repealing slaves, approved November nineteenth, eighteen hundred
elaun.     and thirty-one, and the act entitled  An act, amending the
acts now in force, relative to the introduction of slaves,
approved March twenty-six, eighteen hundred and thirty-
three, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECT. 2. Be it further enacted, 4-c. That it shall be
Slaves intro- lawful for any person who have introduced slaves into this

former law

shall be liable to be seized and sold, in the same manner
that they could have been, had such laws not been in force.
