ticable thereafter, shall cause the said Gazettes to be sent to the
parish judges and clerks of court, to whom copies of the laws are
now directed to be furnished; and it shall be the duty of those
persons to p eserve the said Gazettes careful y in their respective
courts, for the, use thereof, until they shall have received the
copies of the laws in pamphlet form.
SECT. 2. And be it /urther enacted, &c. That the state printer
Compensation. shallreceive ten dollars for every three hundred papers delivered
to the secretary of state, as directed by the first section.

tatires of the State of Louisiana, i. Geaeral A.s.vend ly conveaed,
That the first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth,
tenth, eleventh, twelfth, seventuenth, and eighteenth cctious of
the act relative to the introduction of slaves iu this state, appro-
ved January thirty-first, eighteen hundred and twenty-nine, be
repealed; but any violation of said act, previous to the passage
hereof, shall nevertheless be punished, as therein prescribed.
