to manumit the said slaves, on his complying with
all the formalities required by law, and in the same
manner as if the said slaves had actually attained
the age of thirty years.

of East Baton Rouge, be and she is hereby author-
ized to manumit Thbodule, a boy of color aged
about sixteen years, after the usual advertisements,
if no legal opposition be made.
sp Maieo. Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That Marie Mc-
ziere, free woman of color, of the parish of Natchi-
toches, be and she is hereby authorized to emanci-
pate her grand daughter Marie Joseph Nathalie,
after having given the notices and fulfilled all the
formalities prescribed by law.
Of Joseph  Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That Athanas
Marie Nat. Mzire of the parish of Natchitoches be and he is
Marie Fortu-
nat, and Ma- hereby authorized to emancipate his three quarte-
rie Flavie. roon slaves named Joseph Marie Nat, aged twenty
years, Marie Fortunat, aged twenty-one years and
Marie Flavie, aged twenty years, after having ful-
filled the formalities prescribed by law.
