den for the parish of St. Mary on the second Mondays in March and
September, for the parish of St. Martin, on the thiird Mondays of.
March-and September, and for. the pariph of St. Landry on the.
third Monday* of April and October.

AN ACT to aTpend an act entitled I* An act relative t the harbour master,
and master, and wardensand pilots of the ports of New-Orleans.
. Be it enacied by the Senate and House of Bipresentatives of
the State of 'Louisiana, in General Assembly convened, That
in addition to the fees allowed to the master and wardens of the
portof New-Orleans, by the act entitled  An, act relative to the
harbour master, and master, and wardens and pilots of the port of
New-Orleans, passed on the thirty first day of March, eizteen hun-
dred and five, for the services the said aet specified, the said mas-
ter and wardens shall be entitled to demand and receive for each
vessel arriting in the qaid port of New-Orleans from sea, the sum
of five dollars, whether they shall be called upon, to perform the ser-
vices mentoined in the said act or not, which sumn they shall be en-
titled to demand of the captain, owner or consignee, of every such
vessel, and in case of failure or refusal to pay the same, they shall
have the right to proceed for the recovery of the same against the
said vessel before any justice of the peace or other competent triba-
nal,I

SECTION 1. Beit enacted by the Senat* and House of Representa-
tives 6f the State of Louisiana, in General Assembly convened,
That the sum of five thousand four hundred and forty-seven dol-
lars be, and the same is hereby appropriated for the payment of
all claims that have or may be- exhibited against the widow and
heirs of William C. C. Claiborne, deceased, late Governor of this
state, for materials purchased by bim in his said capacity, for the
purpose of qtpppirig a crevasse, which took place on the plantation
of B.Macarty, near the city of .New-Orleans, in the year eighteen
hundred and sixteen.
Snc. 2. And be it further enacted, That the treasurer be and
he is hereby authorized to pay the same, to the said widow of the
said W. C. C. Claiborne, or her legally authorized agent, on the
warrant of the Governor, out of any money in the treasury not
otherwise appropriated.
