On the parish of Rapides, sixteen hundred dollarb.
On the parish of AvoyClIes, three hundred and sixty
dollats.
On the parish of Catahoula, threz: hundred dollars.
On the parish of St. Martin, seventeen hundred dollars.
On the parish of St. Mary, nine hundred and fifty dollars.
O: the perish of St. Landry, ninetetn hundred dollars.
On the parish of Feliciana, two thousand nine hundred
dollars.
On the parish of East Baton Rouge, eighteen hundred
dlolla rs.
On the parish of St. Tammvny, five hundred dollars.
On-thc prish of S . Helena, six hundred dollars.
Sec. 2 .dnd br it firther enacted, That all other taxedi
imposed 'by the above recited act passcd in the year one
thousand <ighot hundred and thortern, shall be, and the stume
are hercby continuvd, and made the taxes for the year one
thousand eight hundred and fificen, except as is provided in
this present act.
SEc. 3. And be it /urther enacted, That any thing con-
tained in any law contrary to the provisions of this act, shalt
be, and-the same is hereby repealed.

vened. That the governor be, and he is hereby Authorised to,
organise rr cause to be organised within the parish of Nat-
chitoches un auxilary trcop of free men of colour, to be em.
ploycd in maintaining a good police, or otherwise under ther
immediate ordcrs of the commanding officer of the militip
of the said parish, Provided, that the said troop does not
exceed eighty men, who shall furnish themselves with hor-
