Pay mcent to j; J.
Rousseau.

Resolved by the Midtr and hotse of ree  ?enkatiaes of the
state of Louisiana, in general assembly convened, That
the treasurer of said state be and he is hereby authorized td
pay to Jeah Jacques Rousseat, ot the parish of St.Landry,
the sum of three hundred dollars for the value of his negro
wench Mary, sentented to pekpetual irmprisonment by the
competent court holden it said pat'sh of St. Landry, oi the
9th March 1813; provided that the said sum shall be paid by
the said treasWet out only of such public futtds as are not
othervise approptiated; provided also the said Rousseau ot
his assigns do pass a deed of conveyance of said negro wench
to the governor for the use of this 'state.
