SEc1. I. Be it enacted by the -cnate and house oj
representatives of the state of Louisiana, in general
Amount & assembly convened, That a direct tax of forty nine
oportion thousand three hundred and thirty seven dollars shall
r    rtax.  he and is hereby imposed on all real estates within the
state, wfhich tax shall be divided among the different
parished of the state in the nanner following, to wit:
On the parish of Orleans, eighteen thoisand five
lundied and seventy one dollars.
On the parish of St. Bernard, four hundred dollars.
On the parish of Plaqueminc, six hundred and for.
ty-three dollars.
On the parish of St. Charles, two thousand tweii-
ty four dollars.
On the parish of St. John Baptiste, fourteen hun-
fred dollars.
On the parish of St. James, fourteen hundred dol.
lars.
On the parish of Ascension, eleven hundred dollars.
On the parish of Assumption, eight hundred and
fifty dollars,
On the parish of Lafourche Interior, seven hun-
dred and seventy six dollars.
On the parish of lberville, one thousand dollars.
