SEcT. 1. Be it enacted by the-senate and house
representatives oj the state of Louiciana, in general
assenzbly convened, That all slaves killed while Ituin

SECT. 1. Be it enacted by the senate and hozisc of
representatives of the state of Louisiana, in general
assebnl convened, That the inhabitants of Fausse
Rividre in the district of Pointe Cotipec who were au-
thorized by the act entitled, an act to incorporate the
company of. the chanal of Fausse Rivibre in the dis-
trict of Pointe Copi-6c, for the purpose of destroying
all and every impediment to the navigation of tfle
said river, and of keeping said river in as good a si-
tuation as the height of its waters may allow, shall
