CHAPTER I.
AN- ACT
To authorize John Baptiste Le Biwe to clain
from th.' Treasuler of this State the Price of a
. tegro conmdemned to death, and whose punish-
nent was commuted by the Governor to that of
perpetual imprisonm ent.
Be it enacted by tt'ie Senate and louse of Repre
Sentatives of the State of Louisiana in General
.dssembly convened,
SECT. 1. That John Baptiste Le Blanc be, and
Tie is hereby authorikddto claim from the Trea-
stirer of this State, the reimbursement of -aid
Negro; and that it shall be il duty of the said
Treasurer to pay to the said John     Baptiste
Le Blne, the price of said Negrso, on a warrant
from the ParisY Judge, to the amount of five
hundred dollars, conformable to the appraisemlent
of said Negro.
