For the regulatioi of the rights and duties of
apprentices and indented servants.
W HEREAS great inconveniencies
do frequently refult from loffes

of fome uniform mode of binding them
and regulating their condu6I and behavior
during the term of time expreffed in their
refpedtive indentures, and to prevent them
from abfenting themfelves from the fervice

them for their improper behavior, as well
