Co-ncerning county funds.
Sec. I.    E it enaded by the governor of
lithe territory of Orleans, by and
with the advice and consent of the legylative
Court author council thereof, That the judge of each coun.

majority of. them, may and fhall impofe and
dire& the colleaion of a tax or taxes upon
the real and perfonal property, or either the
one or the other thereof being within f'ich
county, for the purpofe of raifing funds for
tid purc'hafing, ereding -or hiring, as they
may deem moft fir, a court houfe; for
