Resoution to a1)ropriate tke school fund o'* the counties nj Gilmer and
Scriin.
Resolred by the General Assembly, That the Justices of the inferi-
or Courts ol the counties of Giilmer and Scriven are hereby autho-
ized to appropriate the school flids belonging to said counties for','I,)I
the purchase of. such amount of salt as the Governor of this Stutel,' 
may be able to furnish for tile people of said counties ; Provided,  ,5  . it
that so soon as said salt shall be distributed and sold to the people
of said counties by said Justices, under the regulations prescribed
by the G1overnor for the distribution of salt anong the dillrent
counties of this State, the said Justices sha11ll refund said mo-
ney to the Ordinaries of sasd counties tr school purposes.

The immediate demand upon the State of Georgia for a very
large amount of' money to aid ill the vigorous )rosecution of the
existing war, renders it-necessary to make all its means available
The refore be it resolied by the Gencral Assembly oy' (eorgia, Tha i
is the duty of his Excellency the Governor, and lie is hereby.re-
quired and directed to collect all dues to the Western  nd Atlan-
tic Railroad, whether of a public or private nature, at tile earliestrniF41bh
possible day..
And b it jhre resolved, That the prompt payment of all debts'1 ply-
which may hereafter become due to said Itailroad, be rerI ifed of guirj ht
all debtors, vithout distinction or diserini nation.
