An Act to authorize Guardians of Free persons of Color, to make get-
tlements with the Courts of Ordinary ; and for other purpoes.
13. SECTION I. Be it enacted, 4c., That from and after the pas-
sage of this Act, all persons heretofore, or that may hereafter, be Retrn of
appointed Guardian of any Free person of Color, in           this State, : ena -or
shall be allowed to make return of his or her acts as Guardian, as          ' ,
aforesaid, upon oath, to the Ordinary of their respective counties;
and that the same shall be recorded in said Court; which record
shall be received as evidence in any Court of justice in this State.
SSec. II. Repeals conflicting laws.

GEORGIA ACADEMY FOR THE BLIND.
SEc. 1. $7,000 appropriated for support of pupils in 1861; $1,000 to proxide a work

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Georgia, That $7,000 Tpro-
