An act to incorpiorate the town of Perry in Houston county, and to extend
the limits of the same, and to repcal an act to incorporate the town of
Perry in Houston, and to d-finc the authority ofjthe Connissioncrs of
thesame, passed the 2Sth of Decemnber, 1S28, * and to repcal an act en-
titled an act to amend the charter of the city of Albany, solfar as to give
the election of Marshal to the qualified voters of' said city, approved
December 22d, 1857; t and Jbr other purposes.
1. SEC. I. Be it enacted, That from and after the passage of this
act, that the corporate limits of said town shall extend three-quar- LImits.
ters of a mnile in every direction from the Court House, except
on the West side, on which side, Big Indian creek shall be the
boundary ; and also, except the premises of E. M. Halsey ; Protided, provio.
alcays, that no field or woodland exceeding five acres shall be sub-
ject to the corporation tax or corporation laws, until the same is
