An Act to mnend the Road Laws of this State, approred the nineteenth
day of December, 1818, and to puntsh persons for violating the same.*
1. SEc. I. Be it enacted, <tj., That if any person shall be guilty ofrnon.1.
stopping up, or obstructing, any public road of said State, upon in- ,'r
formation received by any commissioner or overseer of any district     rid.

this act, all negroes employed by contractors in constructing Rail-g      p C-
