8. Sec. Vll. Be it further enacted by the authorily aforesaid,  orcon.
That it shall be the duty of the Clerk of Council, to furnish to thecusian null-
Magistrates presiding at the election of Mayor and Aldermen of the ;.'j.'.f
city of Savannah, on the day of said clection, a complete list of all ;, P1r top-
the names, arranged in alphabetical order, which have been reg s-taat
tered according to the provisions of this Act, and the above recited
Act, together with the age and occupation or business and plAce of Ci;lkdto
residence in the city of Savannah, of each person whose name is,'!,'g  
so registered, at the time of said uegistration ; which list shall be And an ..

during said election and when said election is over, shall be deposit-
ted in the office of said Clerk of Council, to be safely kept by him.
9. Sec. -VIII. Repeals conflicting laws.

10. Section 1. Be it enacted, That from and after the passage of non
this Act, it shall be lawful for the citizens of the city of Columbus, i
to elect by general ticket, a Mayor and twelve Aldermen ; which
election shall be held at the Court House in said city, on the ,econdo:oitja
Saturday in December, in each and every year; provideid, there shall 
be two Aldermen elected for and residing in each Ward, as now1.,wo r
designated by law ; Adndl prodided further, That each voter shall nnn ila
desienate upin his ticket the two persons voted for as Aldermen fors,'ton
each Ward, and that two persons in each W'ard, receiving the high-  '
est number of votes given in, i: said city, for Aldermen of eachieket
