Counties of Effingham & Glynn.
1 Section I. Be it enacted, &c., That from and after the pas-
no   sage of this act, John T. Boyd, of*the county of Muscogee, now
J under sentence of death, as principal in the second degree, for the
crime of murder, be and be is hereby pardoned of the said crime
of murder, and relieved from the pains and penalty of the same, and
that the sheriff of said county of Muscogee, upon the production of
this act, properly certified as having passed into a law, do discharge
the said John T. Boyd, and permit him to go free.

PATROL LAWS.
SEc. 1. Act of 1843 as to Effingham re-   3 Repealinr clause.

An Act to repeal the 7th section of an act entitled an act to amend the Road
and Patrol laws of this State, so far as relates to the County of Effing-
ham, assented to 9th December, 1843.
APPROVED, March 4th, 1856.
1. Section I. Be enacted, &c., That the 7th section of an act
entitled an act to amend the Road and Patrol laws of this State, so
far as relates to the county of Effingham, assented to 9th of Decem-
Art of 1s43 ber, 1843, be and the same is hereby repealed, and that the laws on
repealed, that subject as they existed previous to the enactment of said 7th
section, be and the sams are hereby revived.

An act to repeal an act entitled an act to amend the Patrol laws of this
State, approved February 20th, 1854, sofar as relates to the county oJ
Glynn.
APPROVED February 16th, 1856.
2. Section I. Be it enacted, &c., That the act entitled an act to
amend the Patrol Laws of this State, approved February 20th,
t Of 11854, be and the same is hereby repealed, so far as it relates to the
repealed; county of Glynn, and the laws'regulating Patrols previous to the
passage of this act, of the 20th of February, 1854, be declared to
be of full force and effect in the county of Glynn from and after the
passage of this act.
