An Act for the relief of Samuel Pascoe.
WHEREAs, Samuel Pascoe, of the County of Lumpkin, has lately
become a naturalized citizen of said State, having previously
purchased lands; and whereas, some doubts exist whether, by ex-
isting laws, the title to said lands rested in him, for remedy
thereof.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enact-
hold lands ed by the authority of the same, That all lands lieretofore purchased
by said Samuel Pascoo, shall have the titles to the same vested
in him, in as full and ample a manner as if he had been a citizen
of this State, at the time of the purchase of the same; and that all
laws militating against this Act, be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
Assented to, December 20th, 1853.

An Act for the relief of James .M. Patterson, of the County of
G-winnett.
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly niet,.'and
it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and
atterson, immediately after the passage of this Act, the Sheriff of Clark
h. fa. satis. County, be and he is hereby authorized and required to enter a
fied, &c.  full satisfaction upon a,#. fa. against James M. Patterson, which fl.
fa. was obtained upon a bond for the appearance of Thomas J.
Patterson, being his security, on condition that the said James M.
Patterson shall first pay the sum of two hundred dollars and all
costs which have accrued on said case in the procurement and rou-
dition of said judgment and issuing of said fa.
SEc. HI. And be it further enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws militating against this Act, be and the same aro hereby
repealed.
Approved, February 18th, 1854.
