tate by devise, inheritance and otherwise, and by reason of
his Inority cannot legally call upon those who hold the
same in possession, for payment, for remedy whereof-
SECTION 1. Be it   nacted by the Senate and h1ouNePrivi es
of ReIveentatives of the State of  Georgia in General .er!t.
Avsembly net, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of
the same, That the said John Everitt be, andl he is hereby
rendered competent in law to receive all and every spe-
cies of prop)erty or money to which he may be entitled,
from  any Guardian, Executor, Administrator, or Trustee,
or any other personi holdinig the same, in any capacity
whatever, and to execute all necessary receipts therefor,
which shall be binding upon him to all intents and purpo-
ses, as fully as if he was of full age.
Sa. I1. Be it further enacted by the authority atore-illllability.
said, That his acts shall be valid against hii, and he is
hereby declared to lie filly competent to transact business
as a citizen of full age, and shall be liable upon his con-
tracts, and capable of suing and being sued, in the same
way and manner as is now prescribed by law as to other
citizens of this State, any law, usage or custom to the con-
trary notwithstanding

tate, leaving an illegitimate child, which has since (lied,
he and lie is hereby authorized to settle wi th and pay over
the estate of' said Susan B. to her properl heirs-at- aw now
in life,  -ithIout any othei aecountability lor the sanic, un-
der. the escheat laws of' this State.
