AN AcT to amend tlie several Acts now in force regulating the
fees of Magistrates and Constables in the State of Georgia, so
far as relates to the counties of Bibb, Richmond, Monroe, and
Lee, and to provide for the mode of collecting the same. Ap.
proved, January 22, 1852.
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the Senate and 11ouse
of Represent(tives of the State of Georgia, in General
Assembly met, and it i8 hereby enacted by the authority of giate. and
the sane. That the fees of Magistrates and Constablis oone of
civil, criminal, and cases of misdemeanor, shall be as fol- oi510.

JUSTICES OF THE PEACE FEES, IN CIVIL CASES.
For every warrant, summons, writ, aflidavit, execution,
f.fa., ca. sa., certificate or copy thereof, each  31+
For every bond,                                      62J
For every cause tried by the Magistrate or Jury,     31+
For drawing Jury and making out venire,              621
For entering up judgment by default,                 31+
For every subpena for witness,                      15
For taking interrogatories, and certifying the same, 1 25
For issuing process under rent law of 1827,        1 00
For distress warrant,                              1 25
For witnessing any instrument of writing,            314
For every exemplification copy of office or Court
papers, Ten Cents for every hundred words, and

For every stray horse, mare, colt, filley, ass or mule,
