December, eighteen hundred and thirty-cight, to compen-
sate the Slierifrs of Camden, Lumpkin, and Liberty coun-
ties, so far as the county of Liberty is concerned.
SEcroN 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep-
resentatives of the State of Geoi;ria, in General Assembly met,
and it is hereby enacted by the authoritY of the same, That the
above recited act, so fhe as the county of Liberty is concern-
ed, is hereby repealed.
Sic. 2. And he it further enacted, That all laws and parts
of laws militating against this act, be, and the siom  is
hereby repealcd.

of slaves into this State.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rep-
resentatives ( the State oj Georgia, in Gencral Assembly met,
and it is hereby enacted bU the atuthoritU of the same, That from and
immediately after the passage of this act, that all laws and
parts of laws prohibiting the free introduction of slaves into
this State, either for trallic or emigration be, and the same
is hereby repealed; and that persons introducing slaves into
this State, 1e as free to do so as if no law on the subject hIad
ever I)eeI passed.
SEc. 2. And be it furt/Cr ected by the authority lorcsaid,
That all IafwS and parts of laws militating against this act be,
and the same are hereby repealed.
