16th day of' December, IS1 1, so ihr as relates to the
county ofBrya.
Sawrmo 1. Be it cnacted h!U the Senate and House oR.ip-
rta8('/Ifitires of/ the i State ofl Georgia, in Gencral Assembly met,
and it is huer/U (ied by thr athorit f  th samic, That
from and aflter the possing of this act, all the duties pointed
out   l and directed ink the said act, and all the acts amenda-
tory thereto, to he donle Iv the t wo associated Justices ofithe
Peace to be not ified by lie.Justice issuing a warrant for the
appheiision id trial of any shiv or slaves, or free per-
sons of color, upon any chmarge Or1 accusation, shall and may,
in said county of ryan, he (lone and pedfried by any two
Or More lrVehiollers of said countIy, they lWing citizens and
slave haiulers of, said coulnuty, upon receiving the like notifi-
ctions a are now required to be' given to said associated
J nst ices from t lie Justice of the Peace issuing the warrant;
Prorided, the' Justice of tIe Peace issuinr the said warrant
shall first adiminister to the said frecholders the followimg
oath: You, A. B., do solemly swear that you will, with-
out iivoir or prejudice to either pa rit, you will a true judg-
incnt render between the State of Georgin and the dcfend-
ai1t, so help you God.
Sec. 2. And be it ptert/  enacted, That all laws or pirts of
laws, militating against this act, be, and time samie are hereby
repented.
