HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES.
Whereas some of the negrocs lately belonging to the
State were runaway at the time appointed for the sale of
them, and were subsequently apprehended and sold by
Francis M. Stone by order of the Executive, and it is but
justice that the said Francis M. Stone receive the same
compensation for his services which was paid to the other
agents of the State-
Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Represent-
atives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met,
That two and one-half per cent. on the amount of sales
made by the said Francis M. Stone be paid to him, and that
his Excellency the Governor be authorized and requested
to draw his warrant on the treasury for the same.
Agreed to, 20th December, 1834.
