AN ACT to lter and amend the thirtieth [30th] section of
the tax law now in force in this State, so far as respects
the county of Liberty.
Whereas, by the thirtieth section of tihe tax law now in
force in this State, it is made the duty ol' the Sheriff, to re-
ceive fron the Tax collector, all executions that may he ten-
dared to him for taxes and to levy and collect the sie, for
which the said Sheriff slihall receive such pay as by law in
directed in cases of Tax collector's executions, lovies and
sales.
Be it tIerfore enacted by t/ie Senate and House of Repre-
sentatives ( the State of Georgia in General Asscmbly met,
and it is hereby enacled by the authoritl oj the same, That
fron and inuediately after the passage of this act, it shall
be lawlfd for the sheriff of Liberty county, to receive such
pay for the levying of a tax execution as by law is allowed
the sheriff for the levying of other executions-any law to
the contrary notwithstanding.
