AN ACT
To repeal a law passed in the year one thousand eight
hundred and seventeen, prohibiting the introduction of
slaves only on certain c6nditions.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-
tives of the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met,
and it is hereby enacted by the authorzty of the same, That
from and after the passage of this act, it shall and may be
lawful for any person or persons to introduce slaves into
this state from any other of the United States, and to dis-
pose of tihe same free of any restriction that has heretofoo
existed.
