AN ACT
To antliorise the judge of the Superior conrt of the eastern
district to appoint a guardian or trustee for a certain
woman of color named Rliino.
Wliereas by the last 1. ill and testament of John Currie,
late of the city of Savanth, deceased, a bequest and le-
gacy is thereby given to a. mulatto woman named R1ino,
the benefit of which she cannot obtain without the ap-
pointment of a trustee or guardian in her behalf.
He it therepore enacted by the Renate and House of IRe-
prespntatives of the State of Georgia, in General ls-
spinbly met, and it is heieby enacted by the authority qf the
same, That the judge of the eastern district with the con-
sent of the owner of the said mulatto woman Rino, he
authoried and required to nominate and appoint,  t Term
time, or at chambers, a trustee or guardian to act in behalf
of the said mulatto woman Rino, and obtain from the ex-
ecutor or executors of the estate of the said John Currie,
or the person or persons in possession of the said estate,
the hequest and legacy left by tie will aforesaid to the
said mulatto womnu named Iiio, and for this purp)ose
power and authority is hereby vested in'such trustee or
guardian when duly nominated and appointed, to sue for
aud recover the said legacy, and otherwise enforce the ob-
ject of the said will, and intention of the testator, in rela-
tion to the said mulatto woman named Rino, in the supe-
rior or inferior court of the county of Chatham, or in any
other county where the said executor or executors or per-
son or persons having the management of said estate may
eside.
