§ 8. .And be it further enacted by the authorzt9yaforesaid, That the
Justices of the Interior Court, or a majority of Ihein, shall convene at
the place of holding court as soon as possible, for the purpose of se-
lezting Grand anti Petit Jurors, and proceed to drawing said Jurors
for the ensuilg courts, in the manner pointed out by law, regulating
the selecting and drawing Grand and Petit Jurors in this State.
§ 9. And be 11 furthei enacted by the authority aforesaid, That
all suits now pending in any of the courts of the counties from which
this county was taken, which by the constitution and laws of this state,
are properly triable in the county now laid out, shall be transferred ac-
cordingly.
§ to. .*'ad be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the
Militia of the county aforesaid, shall be added to, and form a part of
the First Big ade of the Fifih Division of the Militia of this State.
§ It. .*nd be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That
all law% s or piis of' acts militating against this act, be and the same
are. hereby repealed.            - D

AN ACT
To amend an act. -ntitled an act to amend the several road acts re-
gulating roads in this state, so far as respects the operation of said
acts in the counies of Bryan, Liberty, Al'Intosh, Gl ynn, Camden
and Wayne, so far as respects the county of M'Intosh.
1 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Rtepresentatives of
the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted
by the autlrity of the same, That any number of Commissioners of
the roads, not less,than seven, shall at all times constitu.e a board to
trantact buisiness relating to the roads of said county, and that all their
pioceedings in conformity ivith the existing oad laws for the overn-
ment of sald county, shall, to all intents and purposes, be valid and
blading, the same as thoughi a majority of all the Commisiloners were
present.             I
§ 2. Jnd be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, ThIqt
when any road shall become impassable, dangerous or difficult, it shall
be the duty of the Coinimissioners of the district, where such obstruc-
tions maiy exist, forthwith to call outa suflicient number of slavestore-
pair said road; and that in all such cases of emergency, one days na-
tice to the owner, ovqrseer or agent of such slive ag may be required,
