AN ACT,
aTo. ahe and amend an act, entitled an act, to keep open
the maain channel of Broad river, passed on the 13th
December, 1800-also, an act authorising Shnler Hill-
yer to build a Mill Duai across said river, passed 8th
)ecmbiier, 1815, so far as respects the number of
C(oniui.sioners therein muned.
WaLEAS it is found expedient to fedic the number
of Commissioners appointed by the before recited acts, as
It is fun(d extremely dillicult to convene a majority of
at) large a Inumber, by reason of which the objects con-
teiplated by the said acts are not carried into effect
E it therfore enacted by the Senate and House of Re-
presentatives of' the State of Goria' , in General .de-
seinbly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of
the same, That Isaac David, John TVlhiglit, Andrew
M'Civer, Charles NV. Christian, Nicholas M. Marks,
Rlichard lond, William R1edwine, \learshall Martin and
Thomas Meriwether, be and are. herchy appointed con-
