§4. AIndbe itfurther enacted, Thatin future, the Trea.
surer is lierphy authorized and required to wait with the
Tax Collectors, who now are, or may hereafter be in this
staie, for the amount of their insolvent lists claimed by
t iej, where they shall be prevented from having the same
llowcd by the Grand Jury of the county for wiqt of a
session of the Superior court-Provided, that the said
Tax Collector or Collectors, shall pay into the Treasury,
the full amount of money due from them or him, to the
state, with the above exception.
§ 0. And be it further enacted, That the Tax Collec-
tors aforesaid, shill within thirLy (lays after the next ses-
sion of the Superior courts of their respective counties, af-
ter the time prescribed by law for their settlement with the
Treasurer, return to the Comptroller General's oice, their
insolvent lists, approved according to law by the Grand
Jury of their respective counties, or in default thereof, or
payment of the aiount, execution shall issue for the same
as in other cases of executions against defaulting Tax
Collectors.
§ 6. And be it further enacted, That if tie insolvent
lists or list should be approved by the Grand Jury for a
smaller sum than was was claimed by the Tax Collector on
his settlement with tihe Treasurer, lie shall return it as
herein directed, and pay the difference at the same time
into the Treasury, or execution sh;ll issue as heremn point-
ed out.
§ 7. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts, militating against this act, be, and the same are
